EnhanceFitness

EnhanceFitness is a low-cost, highly adaptable group exercise program specifically designed for older adults. Led by certified exercise instructors, EnhanceFitness is appropriate for seniors of any ability level. One-hour group classes include stretching, flexibility, balance, low-impact aerobics, and strength training. A scientific study provided the evidence that participation in EnhanceFitness results in improved muscular strength and mobility, which is associated with a decreased fall risk.  Participants also showed a decrease in pain and depression as well as better physical and emotional health.  EnhanceFitness is available in the instructor's languages. In addition, Project Enhance has a Spanish-speaking EnhanceFitness Master Trainer, available to provide training to new instructor candidates.
